Factories & Warehouses

Monitor Restricted Areas and Operational Safety With AI-Powered CCTV.

A plant's cameras see every aisle, dock and machine area on every shift. CamBrain AI turns what they see into a short list of events for the shift supervisor and the EHS team — someone inside a guarded area, a tank opening entered, an exit blocked by pallets — and checks on camera that the fix held.

The problem

What you are up against.

The rule is written; nobody can enforce it by eye

Stay out of the press area, keep the exit clear, no vehicles in the walkway. Every plant has the rules. Night shift and weekends are when they slip.

Inspections find problems after the fact

A blocked fire exit is written up in an audit weeks after it was blocked. A camera can notice it the same hour.

Safety, not worker scoring

CamBrain AI watches areas and machines. It does not score productivity, idle time or any named worker.

What CamBrain AI can alert on

Use cases, with their readiness.

8 need site setup. Labels come from the product's capability register. What the labels mean.

Restricted machine-area entry

Site setup required

“A worker steps inside the marked perimeter around a press to clear a jam.”

What CamBrain AI detects
A person enters a zone drawn as restricted, hazard or machine area.
Who gets the alert
The shift supervisor for that line.
What happens next
The supervisor checks the live view and follows the lockout procedure.

Supplements guards, interlocks and light curtains — never replaces them.

Runs in production today; not yet measured on a held-out set, so it is measured on your cameras first Needs a zone drawn on your camera.

After-hours access to production or storage

Site setup required

“Someone is in the finished-goods store at 2 AM on a Sunday.”

What CamBrain AI detects
A person is present in a zone during hours it should be empty.
Who gets the alert
Plant security and the store in-charge.
What happens next
Security reviews the clip and sends someone if needed.

Needs a zone drawn on your camera, the hours it applies, then testing on your footage.

Confined-space entry

Site setup required

“A contractor climbs into a tank opening during a maintenance shutdown.”

What CamBrain AI detects
A person enters a zone drawn around a tank opening, pit or vessel manhole.
Who gets the alert
The EHS officer.
What happens next
The officer confirms a permit and a standby attendant are in place.

Needs a zone drawn on your camera, then testing on your footage.

Blocked emergency exit

Site setup required

“Pallets are parked in front of a fire exit at shift change.”

What CamBrain AI detects
Something stays in an exit or corridor zone longer than the time you set.
Who gets the alert
The area supervisor and the fire-safety officer.
What happens next
The exit is cleared; the camera checks again before the alert closes.

Supplements your fire systems and inspections — never replaces them.

Needs a zone drawn on your camera, then testing on your footage.

Vehicle in a pedestrian area

Site setup required

“A truck cuts through the pedestrian walkway to reach the dock.”

What CamBrain AI detects
A car, truck or motorbike enters a zone marked pedestrian-only.
Who gets the alert
The logistics supervisor.
What happens next
The driver is spoken to using the clip.

Needs a zone drawn on your camera, then testing on your footage.

Visible spill or debris in an aisle

Site setup required

“Packaging and spilled material are left in a forklift aisle.”

What CamBrain AI detects
Material on the floor of a configured aisle or dock zone.
Who gets the alert
Housekeeping and the area supervisor.
What happens next
It is cleaned; the camera confirms the aisle is clear.

Tested on your footage before alerts are switched on.

Needs a zone drawn on your camera, then testing on your footage.

Vehicle speeding inside the plant

Site setup required

“A loaded vehicle speeds along the internal road past the canteen.”

What CamBrain AI detects
A vehicle's speed through a measured stretch passes your plant limit.
Who gets the alert
The transport or EHS officer.
What happens next
The driver is counselled with the clip.

Only on cameras whose height and tilt have been measured.

Needs a zone drawn on your camera, the camera's mounting height and tilt, then testing on your footage.

Camera covered, blurred or moved

Site setup required

“A camera over the scrap yard is turned towards the wall.”

What CamBrain AI detects
The view no longer matches its reference: covered, defocused, dark or moved.
Who gets the alert
The security supervisor.
What happens next
Someone restores the camera; the alert closes when the view is back.

Runs in production today; not yet measured on a held-out set, so it is measured on your cameras first.

What we cannot offer yet.

These are asked for often. They are not offered until they are measured on real footage.

When an alert fires

Who is told, and what they see.

Who receives it

The shift supervisor and the EHS officer for that area, on their phone and on the security desk — routed by area and shift.

What the alert contains

  • Camera, area and shift
  • Start time and how long it lasted
  • A snapshot and short clip
  • Whether it has been acknowledged and closed

What they can do

Open the live view or the clip, acknowledge it, and close it when it is dealt with. Alerts that a fix has been made are checked by the camera before they close. The decision is always a person's.

Technical conditions

What your cameras need.

Cameras that see the machine perimeter, the exits and the aisles from above, with the area lit on every shift. Speed checks need the camera's height and tilt measured once.

What we will never do

  • Worker productivity or idle-time scoring
  • Emotion or fatigue detection from faces
  • Replacing machine guards, fire systems or access control
Questions

Frequently asked.

Can it detect forklifts near people, or missing helmets?

Not yet. Both are in development and are not offered until they are measured on real plant footage. We list them so you know exactly where we stand.

Does it replace our safety systems?

No. Video alerts are an extra pair of eyes. Machine guarding, interlocks, fire panels, permits and access control stay exactly as they are.

Will workers be monitored?

Areas and machines are monitored for safety events. No worker is scored, ranked or tracked for productivity.

How do we know it works in our plant?

Every pilot starts with a two-week shadow period: alerts are recorded, not sent, and we report accuracy, false alerts per camera per day and latency before anything goes live.

How it works

Simulated illustration — not real footage

A drawn scene showing what the detection checks and what the alert looks like. Real performance depends on your cameras and is measured during a pilot.
